Stacy's Poem
after community...
for Stacy Szymaszek et al
Your last name that you did not
Change to "Smith" fortunately
Reminds me of innocence
"felt necessities" the photo
Taken of you on a high-school
Softball team or as Robert
Smith of The Cure before
We were all "queers" and querying.
I want to change my name
To my "true name" I want
My true name to be whatever
It is that we share
I want to change my name
To that name before the body
Interrupted the body a celestial
Earth an Iran of praxis
In our indefatigable
And ungarrulous "talk".
