"A Riot is the Language of the Unheard" (at Cooper Union)
I will participating in this event with many other fine folks next weekend. It is part of a larger exhibit currently up at Cooper Union, Ruptures: Forms of Public Address.
I read "Does the Document Promise?" today. I liked it a lot. It delivers emotional content while also simultaneously commenting on it. It's genuine -- a wonderful even-handed, conversational tone.
p.s. Was that you at Newark Airport last week? I was pretty zoned out and things weren't registering very well. My wife, daughter and I were getting ready to fly to Paris. We'd been through a weird experience on the way to the airport. We took a car service and the driver was Chinese and didn't speak any English. He was using a Mandarin-speaking GPS and he got way lost. We got to the airport more than an hour late. Luckily, the flight had been delayed!
Thanks, Peter. This is a really nice comment. Very encouraging. I don't think that was me at Newark. Maybe one of my subtle bodies? Hope to see you soon!
